Thematic exhibition "Design patterns and rattan products, bamboo 2011" has been opened at the Ministry of Culture Exhibition Centre vhnt (No. 2 Hoa Lu, Hanoi) open until 01/02/2012.
 
Woven rattan is one of the historical profession has developed oldest in VN. Currently, rattan is 1 in 4 handicraft items with the largest number of our exports and create jobs for more than half a million workers. However, while the VN rattan products won the hearts of many places in the world to be the main market and domestic consumers abandoned by the majority of exports are made in the form of code foreign, and domestic remains extremely monotonous and not much creativity, advanced applications. That's also the reason for the Department of Fine Arts - Photography Exhibition (Ministry of Culture) organized this exhibition.
4.2011 was launched from May, after eight months, BTC selected over 100 works, the products for display along with 200 unique rattan products from the collection of the Museum of Ethnic Culture VN. 29 products, the products have been awarded (3 first prizes, six second prize, third prize 9 and 11 consolation prizes) for the three content: Awards for creative design (for artists, designers design), the award of the work, innovative products high (for the artist) and the award for the work, products with high usability.
Vi Kien Thanh - MTNATL Department - said: This is the first thematic exhibition is organized to encourage the search for innovative designs, new models of workers as well as call called visual artists and artisans in the field of applied art are more interested in the artistic craft, help villages develop, because currently there are 70 - 80% of the villages are experiencing difficulties due template less code.
